Anatomy Aesthetics

About Us

Anatomy Aesthetics is a Registered Nurse-led clinic dedicated to helping clients achieve greater skin confidence. Specialising in scar and stretch mark camouflage, as well as cosmetic skin needling for collagen induction, we combine clinical expertise and experience with artistry to support skin restoration and rejuvenation.

After working alongside Western Australia’s leading Burns and Plastics Specialists in Perth, Founder and Registered Nurse Leisa established Anatomy Aesthetics upon discovering the transformative power of inkless camouflage in restoring confidence for those affected by skin imperfections.

This advanced inkless camouflage technique, also known as paramedical tattooing or skin needling, works by delivering medical-grade serums directly into damaged skin. This process stimulates a powerful cellular response, activating fibroblasts, growth factors, melanin regulation, and other natural healing mechanisms. As the skin regenerates, scars and imperfections visibly improve, restoring a smoother, more balanced appearance.

We apply the same precision and care to our Facial Skin Needling for Collagen Induction Therapy, an advanced treatment designed to rejuvenate and refine the skin. This powerful technique targets fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, acne scars, and textural irregularities, while also addressing sun damage and overall skin renewal. The result? A smoother, plumper, and more radiant complexion with a natural dewy glow.

Our Philosophy

Your skin is more than just an outer layer—it’s a reflection of your journey, confidence, and identity. At Anatomy Aesthetics, we understand that skin concerns can impact self-perception and well-being, which is why we provide a safe and compassionate space where clients can openly share their insecurities. Our goal is to empower you with treatments that restore not only your skin but also your confidence, ensuring you feel comfortable in your own skin.

We follow an evidence-based care model, ensuring that every treatment we offer is backed by proven results. If a procedure does not demonstrate meaningful improvement, we do not proceed with it, prioritising only effective, research-supported treatments that align with our commitment to client well-being.

Your well-being is our priority. If a different approach is needed to achieve your treatment goals, we will connect you with trusted specialists who can support your journey.

Stretch Marks and Scar Treatment

Facial Skin Needling for Collagen Induction

Stretch Marks and Scar Treatment

Our stretch mark and scar treatment utilises the advanced Inkless Camouflage technique.  The inkless camouflage approach is a revolutionary technique designed to improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks without using traditional skin tone pigments or ink. This non-surgical approach to stretch mark and scar revision provides an alternative and sometimes more effective option to scar treatment without the immense expense and often unreachable goal of surgical cosmetic procedures involving anaesthetic and lengthy recovery times.

Also known as paramedical tattooing or medical skin needling, this treatment works by delivering medical-grade serums directly into the affected skin, stimulating a powerful healing response at the cellular level.

By triggering fibroblasts, growth factors, and melanin regulation, inkless camouflage promotes natural regeneration, helping to smooth uneven texture, reduce discoloration, and restore a more uniform skin tone. As the skin repairs itself, scars and stretch marks become less visible, revealing healthier, more balanced skin.

Each treatment is tailored to the individual following a thorough consultation with our Registered Nurse. A medical-grade serum is carefully selected based on the unique characteristics of the skin imperfection—including its tone, texture, and whether it is dark, light, or raised—ensuring the most effective and personalized approach to skin restoration.

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks, medically known as striae, develop when the skin stretches rapidly due to puberty, pregnancy, or significant weight changes. Initially red or purple, they gradually fade to a lighter shade over time.

Whilst any body area can be affected, common and treatable areas include:

  • Abdomen
  • Hips
  • Buttocks
  • Breasts
  • Thighs
  • Knees
  • Arms
  • Shoulders

Scars

Scars form when the skin undergoes trauma—whether from injury, surgery, burns, or other damage—triggering the body’s natural healing response, where collagen is produced to repair the affected area, often resulting in a change in texture and pigmentation.

Our advanced inkless camouflage technique can address:

  • Surgical scars from procedures such as C-sections, mastectomies, abdominoplasties, breast augmentations, transition surgeries, cardiothoracic operations, and lesion or mass removals.
  • Traumatic scars resulting from accidents, injuries, motor vehicle incidents, falls, or domestic violence.
  • Acne scars that impact skin texture and tone.
  • Self-harm scars, supporting clients in their journey toward renewed confidence.
  • Hypo/hyperpigmentation concerns, balancing skin tone irregularities.
  • Melanocyte or tyrosinase disorders, addressing pigmentation imbalances.
  • Congenital skin anomalies, improving texture and appearance.

FAQs

Is Inkless Camouflage painful?
Inkless Camouflage is generally well tolerated, with most clients experiencing only mild discomfort. Pain levels vary depending on the treatment area and individual skin sensitivity, but most clients find the experience manageable and well worth the results.  If a client finds the procedure difficult to tolerate, we will collaborate to develop a pain management approach that ensures comfort without compromising the effectiveness of the treatment.

How long does it take?
The treatment duration depends on the area being addressed. For multiple body areas, we aim to treat as much as possible within dedicated 1-hour or 1.5-hour treatment blocks, ensuring the process aligns with the patient’s comfort and tolerance.  A simple scar may take approximately 30 minutes, while stretch marks covering a large body area or multiple treatment areas may require up to 1.5 hours to ensure optimal results.

Pricing is therefore customized based on the duration required for treatment, ensuring a fair and transparent approach that reflects the time and care invested in each session.

How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions required varies depending on the type of scar or stretch mark, its severity, and individual skin response. While some clients see noticeable improvement after just one session, others may benefit from multiple treatments to achieve optimal results.

During your consultation, our Registered Nurse will assess your skin and provide personalised recommendations based on your specific concerns and goals. Factors such as skin type, healing ability, and the depth of the imperfections will determine the ideal treatment plan for you.

What will my skin look like after treatment?
Immediately after the procedure, the treated areas may appear red, similar to a mild sunburn, with possible pinpoint bleeding. This is a natural response as the skin undergoes micro-injury repair and begins the healing process. You may also experience mild swelling in the treated area, which typically subsides within a few hours to a couple of days.  As your skin heals, it may feel slightly sensitive or tight, and some clients notice a subtle rough texture before the skin regenerates. Over the following days, the redness will fade, and the treated area will begin to show signs of rejuvenation, with smoother, healthier-looking skin emerging as collagen and elastin production takes effect. We provide aftercare instructions to support healing and optimize results, ensuring you achieve the best outcome possible.

What after-care is required?
Proper aftercare is essential to support healing and optimize your results. As part of your treatment, it is vital to use the recommended After Care Balm, which helps nourish the skin and promote recovery. This should be applied several times per day until the treated area has fully healed, ensuring optimal hydration and protection throughout the healing process.

To support optimal healing, it is essential to:

  • Keep the treated area clean and dry to prevent irritation and promote recovery.
  • Avoid immersing the skin in water—baths and swimming should be avoided, though gentle showering is fine.
  • Protect the area from sun exposure to prevent sensitivity and discoloration during the healing process.

Following these guidelines, along with applying the recommended After Care Balm, will help ensure the best possible results.

When will I see results?
Results vary depending on the individual, the area treated, and how the skin responds to the procedure. Many clients notice subtle improvements within a few weeks as the skin begins its natural regeneration process. However, optimal results typically develop over several months as collagen and elastin continue to rebuild, improving skin texture, tone, and overall appearance.

For the best outcome, multiple sessions may be recommended, with visible enhancement becoming more noticeable after each treatment. Following proper aftercare instructions will also support healing and maximize results.

Facial skin needling for collagen induction is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure designed to rejuvenate and enhance the skin’s appearance. Using ultra-fine needles, controlled micro-injuries are created within the skin’s surface, stimulating fibroblast activation and promoting the natural production of collagen and elastin. This process strengthens the skin’s structure, improving firmness, texture, and overall resilience. It effectively targets fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, acne scars, sun damage, and other irregularities, revealing smoother, plumper, and more radiant skin with a fresh, dewy glow—all without the need for invasive treatments or downtime.  Its minimal downtime and suitability for all skin types make it a preferred option for those seeking noticeable improvements without the risks associated with more invasive procedures.

Facial skin needling is effective in treating:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles: Stimulates collagen production to smooth and firm skin, reducing signs of aging over time.
  • Acne Scars and Textural Irregularities: Helps break down scar tissue and promotes skin growth, improving skin texture and reducing pitted scars
  • Pigmentation and Melasma:  Encourages even skin tone by accelerating cell turnover and reducing hyperpigmentation without the risks associated with lasers
  • Enlarged Pores: ·Stimulates collagen around pores, making them appear smaller and refining overall skin texture.
  • Sun Damage and Photoageing: Aids in  repairing UV-induced damage by stimulating the skin’s natural healing mechanisms and promoting healthier, more resilient skin.
  • Rosacea & Redness: Strengthens the skin barrier and improves microcirculation, reducing visible redness and sensitivity over time.
  • General Skin Rejuvenation: Increases overall skin brightness, hydration, and firmness, making it a great treatment for clients looking to maintain a youthful glow.
